Energy Audit scope, type of tools used for infrastructure analysis, complexity of evaluation methods and number of parameters used for the economic model design are the basic issues, which have to be defined and agreed and confronted with Client’s expectations before starting the estimation of energy savings potential.

In our approach we define activities like audit as a wave-rolling process of evaluation not only limiting the task to detailed information about “as is” in numbers. Numbers are valuable only if commented and benchmarked. What most important is how the end-user consumes the energy and how to improve it in his specific Organization.

For example in the industrial buildings we put strong pressure on core and non-core processes analysis.

The findings of Energy Audit (end-to-end covering all of the Organization or partial e.g. lighting or HVAC systems) are fundamental for planning complex energy initiatives transformation program in the Company.

Eneon’s key to success is strict and direct cooperation with our customer. We leverage the synergy between client’s suggestions (as the one knowing his environment) and our know-how.

We are cooperating when preparing preliminary baseline for audit as to have common start point. Detailed specification of the audit range – what energy adapters, quality of entry data and awaited deliverables and results achievement methodology is for us the guarantee that audit will be usefull and efficient.

Eneon provides three step approach for energy savings potential evaluation:

• Level 1 Walk-Trough
  This type of an audit could be called “on-site” visit. The scope covers the analysis of audited premises in the area of consumed energy breakdowned by the quantity, type, density of devices benchmarked with the standards and practices in Client’s Branch/Environment.
  Relying on our experience even this form of prelimary analysis gives solid base for improvement recommendations preparation including strategic direction of savings adressing, the ones where repair actions are necessary. Results of this audit (especially prepared historical trends analysis and savings estimation) could be the introduction for Top Management and Decision Makers to accept "in-depth digging" in the selected key areas pointed out for repair.
  Additional advantage of Level 1 is preparation for establishing energy information in one place. This data could be reused in the future for further steps “GO” decisions giving and additional analysis execution.
• Level 2 Regular
  The option covering traditional audit we recommend our Customers after having Level 1. In the result we receive detailed information on energy consumption in the building in time function/load capacity/quantity and kind of devices/systems and characteristic of their operational work. Moreover this type of audit covers also metering of consumption and efficiency of current installations.
  Using variable energy environment data gathered we prepare savings calculations and economic analysis of proposed changes including impact of theses changes and the list of requisitive modifications – essential to achieve savings and increase productivity in this field.
• Level 3 Simulation
  Complex energy consumption analysis per function(main/supporting or direct/indirect), all-round evaluation of used energetic patterns.
  The result delivered covers simulation model created by profesional advanced software (using multilevel specific indicator as an input even like temperature or humidity). Beyond all question the biggest advantage of having computer simulation is the opportunity to check no-limited number of “to-be” scenarios and choose the best options. Simulated scenarios could also take into account interactiona and dependencies with other systems and estimate the impact on outside environment which eliminates "double booking” effect in savings calculations.
  The level 3 of audit is the most sophisticated level in terms of data range, tools for calculations, but also the audit findings.

Energy Audit results direct communication,prepared recommendations and follow-up actions common understanding by Audit Report Recipients is Eneon’s highest priority.
